THE NEW VIDEO OUT NOW
“Back in the day we used to make a lot of homemade, behind-the-scenes-with-the-band type films that we called “The Frost Reports”. They’re very much missed apparently as I get lots of requests to make new ones from various corners of the globe on a fairly regular basis.
Sadly I didn’t record very much footage of when we made “Falling Satellites” as filming yourself in a panicked, deadline fuelled hurry rarely yields much in the way of comedy gold, but we did film the rehearsals and 2 of the gigs for our little 2016 mini tourette of the UK – Kent’s Ramblin’ Man Festival and Thekla in Bristol – so that we might release something commemorative at a later point. And this is it!” – Jem Godfrey
SIT BACK WITH A GLASS OF SHERRY
AND PUT A FROST* VIDEO ON THE TELLY
An early Christmas present from Frost*!
“To everyone who came down to see us at any (or all) of the gigs, can I once more take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you from all of us. This jaunt was, hands down, the one we’ve enjoyed most of all, but it would have been nothing at all without you fine people being there to share it with us. And yes, bigger venues next time…” – Jem Godfrey
More interesting visually than just four blokes in a room wobbling about
“This is the first proper video we’ve ever done so I was keen for us to not resort to scowling in some graveyard somewhere pretending life is s*** and the sun doesn’t shine anymore. I don’t think it’s credible for older people to pretend they’re full of rage and angst when really we’re much more concerned with being able to keep the mortgage going and the impending arrival of statins.” – Jem Godfrey
“the working title was Tyrannosaurus Riff”
“So finally, the definitive version of a song that’s perhaps the oldest of the songs that were written for this album. It was also the first time I ever co-wrote with John Mitchell. It’s working title was Tyrannosaurus Riff.” – Jem Godfrey
